Campout For The Cure II !

March 16 will the Camp Out  for the Cure II. 

This year I would like to invite others to camp out with me here at church. 
I'll start at noon on the 16th and go, well, I'm not sure how long I'll camp out...$2000 is the goal. 

This is the major fundraiser for Relay for Life
for our church so please join in.

Grief  Support Group
Many of us have suffered loss - loss of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of self.   Loss of a loved one can be difficult and painful.  After such a loss, we may feel sadness, and shed some tears. There are other emotions which may surface as well.  Emotions which may surprise us, such a feeling of anger, or guilt, abandonment, and/or shock may also surface.

People grieve differently.  There isn’t a ‘right way’ to grieve.  Loss may affect different people differently but there some reactions that are commonly experienced in the grieving process. 

This group  addresses coping with grief and loss.  It will be lead by a skilled professional who also has grieved / is grieving with the loss of a loved one.  Meetings will be held at the Pinckney Community Congregational Church on the first Wednesday of the month at 1:00

Congregational Meeting
There will be a  winter congregational meeting on Sunday,  February 26, 2012. 

The meeting will will be to review and approve the 2012 budget.  It will take place immediately following worship service.   Please delay going to coffee hour
until after the meeting.

Attendance at the meeting is crucial to the life of the church as we work together to carry out the
 good news of Jesus in this time and place.

REACH Volunteers  Are Needed
There is a sign up sheet in Pilgrim Hall for volunteers and food item donations. 
We will be hosting for the REACH program February 13 - 27.
